AKOW: ‘I’m Dramatic?’ me being dramatic about quarantine for a school assignment. AGAIN.

So yeah my teacher made me do a sequel but as most sequels are, this isn’t as good as the original.

And at the time of writing this (5/12/20) I’m done with school completelyyyyyyyy!!!

except math.

I have no one to blame but myself.

Over the past few months, being stuck at home with nothing but siblings, the extremely sophisticated Gravity Falls, and the overwhelming urge to yodel in the nearest Wal-Mart, I’ve learned not to take things for granted. When I say ‘things’, I mean you. I miss the way you’re always there for me. My heart is gaunt without your idyllic tomes to keep me company. Your everlasting supply of old TV shows and comic books makes me dream of a day we can be together again. With you around, I have no choice but to drop my procrastination and get to work! You inspire me to make the Winnie the Pooh quote “people say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day” less relatable. Next time, I won’t return home with so little proof that I was with you. I will do what I must- whether I take the persona of my dead great-aunt or just steal my brother’s card, I will bring home a formidable pile to dissuade even the most avid of readers. I don’t want to be left home with only my classmates’ Instagram stories for company. I don’t have enough grit to do that again. I count the weeks, days, minutes, seconds, and even milliseconds until the quarantine ends and you reopen. Oh, <name of local library> Library, I miss you with all my heart. Hopefully this virus won’t ambush us again. If it does? I am prepared.
