Hi I’m making my own tag again!! (“wow,” they gasp, “amazing,” they admire.)
I’ve made one before here:::: The Meme Tag
ANYWAY LETS GET INTO IT.
Just link me to your post. That’s it.
DEMENTOR: a book so sad and depressing that makes you cry
Okay, looking at my “made me cry” shelf, I only have six??? (seven plus Deathly Hallows, which I haven’t read recently)
But only six. WELP.
But I’d choose More Than We Can Tell. Seriously though- I read this through, cried tearlessly, and read it again. At like two in the morning.
me on the inside:
me on the outside:
THE UMBRIDGE: a book you hate with the passion and fire of a thousand hells
Anne of Green Gables. IT’S THE MOST WELL KNOWN RED HEAD BOOK AND I HATE IT. I DNF THIS BOOK LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE TIME I PICK IT UP I’VE NEVER FINISHED IT IN MY LIFE. IT’S SO BORING. UGHHH. IF I HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN UMBRIDGE OR THIS BOOK I’D CHOOSE UMBRIDGE.
VAMPIRE: an author that sucks the money out of you (I promise I can budget!!)
Okay. Three. Holly Black, Leigh Budargo, and CG Drews. Holly Black because she’s the second author I’ve preordered, Leigh Budargo* because I buy her books without question (and I only own two of her books… shhh) aaannnD CG Drews (Paperfury!!) because 1) her books, to put it lightly, are worse than serial killers, 2) I love supporting my fellow bloggers, 3) (doesn’t fit but) she’s the first author I’ve preordered and that’s saying something.
Also JKR but she’s the oBviOus(ly) answer.
*I think I’m spelling her name wrong don’t judge I did a week’s worth of science homework in two hours PLUS a take-home test
FRANKENSTEIN’S MONSTER: A book that doesn’t fit the title
Turtles All the Way Down. nOT EnoUGh TurTles.
Seriously though, just switch out that fancy lizard and all the main characters with turtles and we’re good!
everyone @ John Green until he dies his turtleless life
Other than that this book was amazing. 4 1/2 stars (rereading rn, actually)
BLOODY MARY: a historical horror
This isn’t technically a horror, but there are zombies, so… Dread Nation.
THE BOOGIE-MAN: a classic children’s tale that you LOVE
OooooOooH. I love love love Robin Hood. I used to play Robin Hood with my best friend when I was seven years old. I’d be Robin Hood and she’d be Maid Marian (but very platonic, my dear friends) and I remember once I wore a cheese hat??? Anyway #goodtimes
CLOWN: a spooky book with a cutsey cover
Whisper to Me. The cover looks like a typical contemporary bUT IT’S NOT. It actually has this weird voice and it scares this girl also a foot? Anyway it’s amazing!
YOU FOLKS READING!
