I Should Read That Book Tag

I was tagged by Audrey @ Make Your (Book)Mark and OH MY GOSH it’s the first time I’ve ever been tagged in something, so obviously I’m going to do it!

LET’S GET ONTO THIS, SHALL WE!

Also, I’m going to try to post twice a week? It might be TOO much but I’m tryin!

the rules

  • thank the person who tagged you and link back to their post
  • link to the creator’s blog in your post (no idea who it is, but THANK YOU!)
  • answer the questions below
  • tag 10 others to take part in the tag (i was too lazy to try to tag 10 people since so many people have already been tagged, so i tagged 5 people!)
  • enjoy the tag!

A book a certain friend is always telling you to read:

I don’t usually get recommendations from friends, but this lady at my church keeps trying to get me to read John Grisham’s book for teens??? No idea what it’s called (and I’m not interested at all- sorry)

A book that’s been on your TBR forever and you still haven’t read it:

FIVE FEET APART has been fourth on my TBR since I started my Goodreads account and I still haven’t read it… And it’s now a movie?? I haven’t watched that, either.

A book in a series you’ve started but never got around to finishing:

Oooooohhhh. The Caraval series or the Illuminae files.

I am going to finish the Illuminae files… eventually? I love the books soooo much that I don’t want them to end, so I don’t finish them. Does that make sense?

I do that with Doctor Who a LOT. I haven’t finished any seasons except for the 9th doctor’s because I LOVE THEM SO MUCHHH!!!!!

(my reasoning for not finishing 10’s last season)

A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but have never actually read:

Hamlet. I love Shakespeare (kind of) (okay, just Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth) And I’ve always wanted to read it, but I just. Haven’t. Yet. Also, Jane Eyre. I have it sitting next to me right now (It’s been there for months)  but I just can’t seem to actually read it!

(Get it? Jane?)

Also any poetry by Edgar Allen Poe.

A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read:

Wilder Girls. I have not read this and it pops up in my Goodreads feed literally EVERY DAY!

I’ve had it on hold for MONTHS and it still hasn’t come in. *cries in Finn*

A book that inspired a film/tv adaptation that you really love, but just haven’t picked up yet:

I’m saying The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes even though I’ve read a couple of the books. I just haven’t found the books with Moriarty which are my favorite episodes. I might read them eventually, but IDK.

A book you see all over Instagram but you haven’t picked up yet:

I have no idea because I’m almost never on Instagram. I have NO IDEA. I’m sorry!

WHO KNOWS!

Thanks again, Audrey, for tagging me!

Ahh, loved this post! I’ve been tagged for this twice now and still need to get round to it – hopefully soon!!
I’m so bad with finishing series honestly. I have to finish Caraval too because I LOVED book 1 and still need to get to the rest?? It’s because I feel like I have to reread Caraval beforehand which I’m not in the mood to do (I want to read new books!) I might just have to bite the bullet and not reread it before hand.
