Do you like pancakes?
I hope so because I’M DOING THE PANCAKE TAG. I have to admit, it took a bit to grow on me (like a week) BUT I’M DOING IT CAUSE I LOVE PANCAKES!!!*
As with any tag, I’ve created a couple of basic rules:
- Link back to the original creator in your post (Becky)
- Feel free to use any of *her*pancake graphics in your post, or create your own! (plus too many(???) gifs.**)
- Tag 5 other people at the end of your post, and let them know you’ve tagged them. 🙂
LET’S DO THIS THING.
*Actually, I love pancake covered whipped cream… With an extra side of whipped cream…
**I love gifs 3000.
Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh. I LOVE these types of books. #sobiased but I really really have to say The Boy Who Steals Houses. Allow me:
He can’t steal houses or the girl inside them, but he can build a bridge of moons and caramel cakes to get back to her.
Then he walks while slivers of hope fall out of his pockets and splinter on the ground.
Apparently it’s possible to kill food not once, not even twice, but several times using a spatula, chilli sauce, and a microwave.
KAZ. OKAY? KAZ. I’m rereading Six of Crows and my love for him has doubled and he fits this description!!!
He’s incredibly smart and stuff. (very important)
And I totally get him not touching people.*
*This is either Kaz or me can’t tell*
*it’s really funny that he can’t stand touching people yet he rips out an eyeball with his GLOVES on.
There are so many books like this. UGH. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DECIDE?
*looks at bookshelf*
*cries internally at lack of books*
*cries in broke*
Anyway, I’ll have to say Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
You’re probably* screaming: BUT PRISONER OF AZKABAN IS YOUR FAVORITE??!
I know, I know! But this book I always forget to reread.* So when I need something to read, I just pick it up and I’m happy. Plus Lockheart… LOCKHEART. (I don’t know why I like him so much he’s just one of my faves)
**I should feel ashamed of myself.
Far From the Tree did this for me. I literally thought about it for WEEKS. Weeks!
It was really really good. UGHHHHhhhHHhhhHhhHhHhhHh. I need to reread it soon.
All the Bright Places. I almost CRIED, okay? It’s just one of the characters reminded me of someone I care for very much and it was like they were IN THE BOOK.
*actual footage of my emotions being snapped*
Um. Is there a living knife? NO? Sad.
Anyway, it’d be Sherlock. I’ve been reading the books this summer. He fits perfectly. There’s a Sherlock-shaped hole here and I’m filling it.
He goes from this:
And he’s genuinely excited about… stuff.* It’s great. I love these books. UGH.
A World Without You. It was kinda confusing?? Like is this real? Not real?* I don’t understand. Did it actually happen or was he hallucinating? I still don’t understand!**
*I suddenly relate to Peeta more than I already did
**I should get that on a t-shirt
I hate bacon. I will never touch it. Ever. So, instead of a ship I like, I’m going to share a ship I LOATHE ENTIRELY.*
And this is from a movie, not a book, because book ships are difficult for me, especially when there’s only ONE BOOK. How am I supposed to think about every ship in every standalone??! It’s too much work. If there’s a series, it’s a bit different.
I hate shipping… I DON’T KNOW!!!!!!!!
Okay. I hate shipping Black Widow and Hulk.**
*I am Grinch
**Technically in a book
There are so many of these. I should make a list. Eventually.
Anyway, here’s a technically-not-a-book one. (comic books count??)
I HATE Professor Hulk.
Hulk/Bruce is fine.* BUT SMASHED** TOGETHER??? NO. It’s a cursed concept.
*More than fine. Bruce is one of my favorites.
**GET IT? SMASHED? HULK?
I don’t count it as diverse unless there’s at least one (1) redhead.
I’ll have to say Six of Crows because 1) it’s all I can remember because I’m literally reading it as I type this post. #braindeadmultitasker 2) it’s actually pretty diverse because of different colors of skin and physical problems and backgrounds and WYLAN THE REDHEAD. They all come from different backgrounds too. So yeah, Six of Crows WORKS.
IF YOU WANT TO DO THIS TAG, GO AHEAD.
