Evil Genius Review

I LOVE EVIL GENIUS. AHHH HOW DO I LOVE IT! LET’S GET INTO THIS FABULOUS TECHICALLY ANTI HERO STORY! LET’S DIVE INNNN.

Evil Genius, by Catherine Jinks, follows a child genius named Cadel Piggot. he lives in a foster home in Australia. One day, at his therapist’s office, he meets someone… his supposed father. Thing is, he meets him using a very special type of tech. Cadel loves tech. Eventually, he goes to his “father’s” school and learns how to be evil. Explosions are the norm. Basically, if you think it’s evil, he’s taught it. Especially hacking. He’s an excellent hacker. And then, something happens!!! (spoilers)

Favorite character: Cadel! He’s just a little ravenpuff who has no idea. Even though he basically knows anything. I LIKE MY RAVENPUFFS ALRIGHT.

Favorite quote: “And a few of the kids were as rich as Cadel’s, so they expected him to be a source of chocolate chip cookies.” Just because he’s rich doesn’t mean he has millions of cookies. IDK why I liked this so much, I just did.

Favorite random thing: I love how Alias is an alias. And no one knows what Alias really looks like. I love it.

Stars: ✨✨✨✨

Four because there’s a little too much going on at once. Just a bit too much.
