Personally Ranking Official Princesses

*This is inspired by Fantastic Geeks Podcast) (I love them check them out)* (I agree with most of the stuff they said)

I am ranking these awesome role models by how much I like them. I will also give what I like and dislike about them. I will also sort them into Hogwarts houses because I sort basically anything. LET’S GO.

PRINCESSES:

Belle:

She is one of my favorite Disney princesses!!!

What I like: I love how brave she is and how she didn’t fall for the prince because of his looks, but his heart. I am also amazed how she didn’t beat up Gaston when he put his muddy boots on her book. C’mon, girl, how do you have that much patience?!

What I dislike: This is sooo difficult. Hmm. I really didn’t like how…how… How she didn’t call the cops on Gaston. (if there were cops back then. There was some type of cop people, weren’t there?)

Hogwarts house: RAVENCLAW! SHE IS SO BOOKISH AND HERMIONE-LIKE!

Ariel:

She was the first Disney princess I really knew about. I loved her as a child.

What I like: She was so curious and absent-minded. She wasn’t afraid to stand up in what she believed in.

What I disliked: She AGREED to Ursula’s plan! Oh yeah she also fell in love with a dude she had only seen for five minutes. (I mean I fell in love with Loki as soon as I watched Avengers but that doesn’t count. I haven’t changed species for him. Yet.)

Hogwarts house: She’s a bit Ravenclaw, but I’d say Gryffindor. She went on an adventure because, hey, adventure. A Ravenclaw/Slytherin would find loopholes/see through Ursula’s lies and back out. Nope, she just dove in. (Sea that pun?) She’s not really hufflepuff, because she isn’t as hardworking as a puff would.

Mulan:

What I like: She saved all of CHINA! You don’t find a girl like that every dynasty! She’s incredibly courageous and is driven by honor.

What I dislike: I don’t really like how she… uh… I DON’T KNOW ALRIGHT?!!

Hogwarts house: Slytherin! She is courageous and all that… but… She did it for her father. For honor. Defending family honor is basically a Slytherin trait. Sure, some are into saving their own skin. Mulan is Slytherin if you think about it.

Aurora:

What I like: She’s just so pretty! She’s so caring and kind! Ugh just so Hufflepuff (I’m obsessed with hufflepuffs it’s not even funny)

What I dislike: I just don’t like how ALL the spinning wheels in the land disappeared. That’s just ASKING for it to happen. When she sees one, she’ll automatically wonder what it is and most likely go closer, which increases her chances of actually pricking herself. C’MON.

Hogwarts house: HUFFLEPUFF!!! She’s hardworking, caring, kind, and she knows how to bake! She’s HUFFLEPUFF! YEAHHH! #puffpower

Merida:

What I like: I loves how head-strong she is and how she won’t let anyone boss her around. I mean, you ARE supposed to be respectful to authority, but being a push-over isn’t fun. I ALSO like how she doesn’t want to marry. It shows young children that life isn’t about finding love and living happily ever after, because most likely, it won’t go the way you think.

What I dislike: She turned her family into BEARS knowing how much her father HATES them and wants to KILL every single one he comes upon. Really? Great way to become a murderer; killing your family.

Hogwarts house: Slytherinnnnn! S-L-Y-T-H-E-R-I-N! She knows what she wants and goes to any lengths she can to find it. She’s FULL of ambition. Now, she may not think things through and act rashly at times, she is very cunning and ambitious.

Rapunzel:

What I like: She’s soooo creative and wants to know more! HER PRISON ROOM IS A DREAM! SO PRETTY! I love how much she does and how CLEAN HER HAIR IS! JUST LOOK! SOFT LONG AND SILKY!

What I dislike: She doesn’t realize her mother is tricking and guilt-tripping her into doing something she doesn’t want to do! That’s a toxic relationship! Then again, she has only read three measly books. (hopefully they weren’t Twilight)

Hogwarts house: Ravenclaw! She’s creative and wants to know more about the world and those floating lights! A quest for knowledge! As if that isn’t Ravenclaw!

Tiana:

What I like: She’s hardworking! She has two shifts withing fifteen to twenty minutes of each other and can still function! She finally gets her restaurant WITHOUT A MAN! (I mean Naveen does help fix up the place, but he has no money, sooo.) SHE KISSES A FROG JUST TO HELP SOMEONE!!!

What I dislike: I HATE how she puts herself through this! So much hard work! She’ll kill herself!

Hogwarts house: Slytherin. I know, she sounds very Hufflepuff. but, she’s hardworking because of her ambition. She knows she wants to have a restaurant, so she gets her restaurant. She needs to work hard to get it. It won’t magically appear.

Cinderella:

What I like: She’s hardworking and she PUTS UP WITH HER STEPMOTHER/SISTER’S CRAP!!! SO PATIENT AND CARING AND KIND!!!

What I dislike: She DOESN’T TELL THE PRINCE HER NAME> HE’S HER WAY OUT. AT LEAST TELL HIM HOW TO CONTACT YOU!

Hogwarts house: Hufflepuff. I mean look at her traits. She even puts up with Lucifer, who’s named after the devil.

Jasmine:

What I like: She’s cunning and adventurous. She has a pet tiger, yet asks if a carpet is safe. Innocent, (somewhat… see dislike)  yet mature.

What I dislike: She enticed Jafar to lure him away from Aladdin. effective, but unnecessary for a CHILDREN’S MOVIE. *AHEM*

Hogwarts house: Gryffindor. She’s very Slytherin, yes, but she goes on so many adventures. Adventure? Yup, let’s go! Rajah may also be a factor, but you’ll never know.

Pocahontas:

What I like: She’s a nature lover! She DIVES OFF CLIFFS GRACEFULLY!

What I dislike: She decides to marry JOHN SMITH (I’m going with Tessa here. I hadn’t even thought of this ’till she said it.) C’MON JUST LOOK AT KOKUWUM! SERIOUSLY? HE’S BETTER LOOKING THAN JOHN SMITH AND RESPECTS YOU AND YOUR PEOPLE. BECAUSE HE IS YOUR PEOPLE! ALSO, HE WON’T GIVE YOU LIFE-THREATENING DISEASES!

Hogwarts house: Gryffindor. (she dives off cliffs and risks her life for a guy)

Snow White:

What I like: She’s thoughtful and hardworking. She’s kind to strangers.

What I dislike: She lives in a house of men, takes food from strangers, (this wasn’t trick or treating) AND gets married at fourteen. I know getting married that young was a norm back then, but I still don’t like it. Oh yeah HER VOICE IS CREEPY AND ANNOYING!

Hogwarts house: Hufflepuff. She has ALL the huffly and puffly traits. she can be one of the more… naive puffs.

If this goes well, I’ll do Disney princes too. AND VILLIANS! AND EVERYONE ELSE.

I love sorting people into houses and I’m usually right- I thought one of my friends was a gryffindor/Slytherin and when she took the test she got slytherin- with her secondary house as gryffindor!!

I’ve never read Harry Potter, but the houses are so fun (I’m Slytherin). I think I have to agree with all of your houses categories! I found your thoughts about each princess fun to read. It’s been a long time since I saw some of these movies. I love the story about Pocahontas, but I’ve read actual history books about her. I forgot they had her marry John Smith in the cartoon. That’s awful (in real like she married a guy named John Wolfe. And why don’t you like that Snow White lives with a bunch of men? haha. I have seven brothers and four sisters. I think boys are easier to live with than girls, not that my sisters are horrid to live with. Just that boys are usually less dramatic.

Awww thank you! I’m glad you like it! I mean, boys CAN be easier… but.. I have brothers. It’s not fun. They are loud and messy and eat all the food. 😦
Boys can be VERRRRRRRRRRRY dramatic. Oh my word can they be dramatic. Once, I accidentally bumped into my brother (brushed against him) and he slammed himself against the wall and started crying. And guess who got in trouble. MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Also, have you SEEN Draco Malfoy?! (You should be able to remember his drama… I mean c’mon)
